CAO International

American CAO International is the US sales company behind the premium long-filler cigar brands by the name of CAO. All the cigars are hand-rolled at Scandinavian Tobacco Group's manufacturing facilities in Estelí, Nicaragua, and Danli, Honduras.

With high-quality products and innovative brands and packaging,  Nashville-based CAO International now has a market share in the United States of around 5% in the exclusive long-filler segment.

Background:
CAO International was established in Nashville in 1968. Originally a meerschaum pipe manufacturer, the company launched its first cigar brand in 1994 and gradually phased out its pipe production. The name of the company stands for the initials of its founder, Cano. A. Ozgener.

CAO International became part of Scandinavian Tobacco Group in January 2007.
