Scandinavian Tobacco Group Danli

The manufacturing company in Danli, Honduras, produces hand-rolled long-filler cigars for the global market mainly within the portfolio of CAO brands.
The process of making a hand-rolled cigar at Scandinavian Tobacco Group Danli starts with the bunch maker (bonchero) rolling the binder leaf around the filler, which is a blend of different tobaccos - the inner part of the cigar. Next the wrapper leaf is applied by a cigar-roller to finalize taste and appearance. The cigar-roller (rolero) can make around 300 cigars in a day - all of them carefully controlled by supervisors for quality assurance.
Together with the factory in Estelí the annual production of the hand-rolled premium cigars exceeds 15 million cigars.
In recent years the cigars from STG Danli have been highly rated by some of the world's most prestigious cigar and tobacco magazines.
