Background:
Scandinavian Tobacco Group Deutschland was founded in Bremen 1982 as a special sales force for the Martin Brinkmann pipe tobaccos. In 1985 the company changed its name to Stanwell Vertriebs-Gesellschaft. It became part of the ST-Group in 2003 and was re-named Stanwell Nobel Vertriebs-Gesellschaft.
In 2009 the company acquired its current name.
