Scandinavian Tobacco Group Dominicana

Scandinavian Tobacco Group Dominicana is the producer of high-quality Dominican wrapper and binder leaves for the Group's cigar production in the Netherlands, Belgium and Denmark.

The wrappers and binders are carefully cut, placed on fabric and rolled to form a bobbin. The bobbins are shipped to the production facilities in Europe, where the the bobbins are frozen to maintain the freshness of the leaves until use.

Background:
STG Dominicana was founded by Henri Wintermans Cigars in 1989 as Bobinas de Tabaco. The manufacturing site became part of the Group in 1996, when Scandinavian Tobacco Group acquired Henri Wintermans Cigars from British American Tobacco.
