Scandinavian Tobacco Group Indonesia

The die cut factory covers an area of 8,200 m² and has 258 cutting machines that are operated directly and indirectly by 810 employees in two shifts. 

The factory produces bobbins with binder and wrapper leaves for the cigar production at the factories in Belgium, the Netherlands and Denmark.

In 1998 the company started a surgery program for children born with physical deficiencies in the local community. Up until today, 105 children had surgery.

Background:
The company was established on Java, Indonesia, in 1992 and became part of the Group in 1993. In 2009 the company was named Scandinavian Tobacco Group Indonesia.
